121 Dining Out

Just got back from dinner. Fusion Japanese Cuisine at Rakuzen. Sigh. I don't really favor that restaurant. The atmosphere gives you a Pasar Malam feeling. But many, many people tend to go there. And they really don't mind waiting even there aren't any vacant tables.

Lunch was served at Yoichi in Bandar Puteri this afternoon. I enjoy going there ever since they gave themselves a boost by upgrading the food. The lady boss is a pure Japanese. While the staff are very attentive. Every time I head down to the restaurant, there aren't many customers. It's mostly quiet.

I love the glass that they served the Ocha in ;D

My sister's Sashimi set that came with a bowl of rice, Miso soup and fruits. Plus, the Sashimi(s) was super fresh! All this for less than 20 bucks.

That's my cousin with his Sushi set also priced below RM 20.

This cousin of mine fractured his leg while cycling around his neighborhood. His left ankle to be exact. And so it was shit ass swollen. And when I say swollen, I mean really swollen. It was twice the size of his normal ankle. It turned a certain colour that seemed like blood wasn't able to circulate there. Awfully odd looking. Now he's hopping around on one foot because he didn't know how to use the *inserts name of the "thing"* (the long item where people put under their pits to support themselves when their leg isn't "functioning well") Yeah.

The Yakitori. Yummay to ;D
The first 2 sticks were beef I think, then the type of eggs which you can get during steamboat, then chicken, and I dunno what was it and last but not least, mushrooms. They were all grilled. Unhealthy, I know. Everything that tastes fantastic are all unhealthy. How unfair ):

My Hiyashi Chuka. It's basically cold noodles served in chopped veggies in soy sauce. Love this dish. Sushi Zanmai have it in their menu too. Both are equally good.

The pork donburi. My sis'. She can eat a lot and yet stay one size. *jealous*

And for desserts we have...

Yoichi Pudding. Another one of my sister's favourite.

My favourite. Iced coffee served with sugar and milk separately. Add them to your liking/taste. Oh, that's how it looks before and after adding milk+sugar. I prefer it to be not so sweet so that the caffeine taste will be much stronger. My sister on the other hand like it to be sweeter.

Green tea ice-cream!! A must-have dessert in any Japanese restaurant :D

The food was great and most importantly, affordable.

Tomorrow's a Sunday. No plans are made except for my uncle's Birthday Bash at his place in the evening. It won't be the end of weekend yet for some. Me included. Yay!

Happy Deepavali to all!

Firecrackers have been going on and off these couple of nights. I understand that for every festival, all cultures tend to play set off firecrackers. But not until 3 in the morning right?!? I'm IMing with my bestie here and she's telling me the exact same thing. Plus, she's the one celebrating Deepavali also. If you don't have to sleep, others have to too you know. Consider your other kind-hearted neighbors who needs their precious sleep, thank you. As if the sound of people rempit-ing around the neighborhood isn't enough already.

Yup. I couldn't sleep the entire night. So I stayed up to watch G.I Joe.

I rate it 8.5/10.

One thing's for sure. Channing Tatum's just so hot!! XD
The BFF doesn't agree with me with that one though.
