071 It's a Family Thing

*sighs* My parents are so 'kecil hati'. Just 'cuz all of us doesn't agree on the same place for dinner, everyone seems to be pissed off at each other-mainly mom+dad at us and each other-. My mom went out to tapao McD for herself. My dad on the other hand, released his so-called anger by not talking and ironing his shirts. So childish huh?

Haha. My sis shows no sign of concern and continuing doing her theory. ME, grabs something to chomp on and sat back to watch our "Diary of A Dysfunctional Family" XD. My sis and I just laughed among ourselves, rolled our eyes and shrugged it off. Yes, we do find it amusing.

061 Shit Happens

Just another crappy day at school. What makes it crappier is that I think I caught a cold from the chairs that we had to carry for assembly. It has only been a week but seems to me the chairs haven't been used for 10 years. The layer of dust was so....thick. Okay, not really but still, I have a sensitive nose. That's why.

You know when you're in a plane, at the moment that we land, the steward and stewardess will spray some kind of air freshener which is like super strong so that the plane won't reek of our stinky feet and our bad breath. Well yeah, I remembered I sneezed like hell. I was actually asleep during that time. But the scent is so toxic-to me-that I immediately woke up. So now, I learned my lesson. Whenever the plane's about to land. I'll myself up, like I've got some kind of rare disease, and only the eyes are visible.

The sensitive nose thing, runs in the family. It's from my dad's side. It was annoying the fact that my nose was running and the with shifting classes didn't make it any better. I couldn't pay attention in class. I was woozy from the first period till the end. It was suffocating.

All of a sudden, during Maths, Jaynie was like, "Let's hang out. I don't care when. Let's just go somewhere." Apparently, her boyfriend dumped her. That's why she seemed pretty down today. He's an ass for dumping her right before Valentine's.

"It's not you, it's me. I think I need a break."

She told me that that was the phrase he used. What the shit is that?!? It's like taken from a movie. She also said that almost everything that he says is taken from movies. How un-original. I haven't really seen the guy before. But from the stories I heard, he's definitely a big-time player. I bet he's been cheating on her for a while.

Well, we made a girlfriend only outing this weekend. I suggested that we indulge in CHOCOLATE FONDUE from
Häagen-Dazs. At the sound of that, her face immediately lit up and was all smiles.

She said "Yeah, chocolate is what I need a now" Haha. That's why she's my BFF XD Then she dazed off a while. She must've been daydreaming about it.

Yumms.... *drools*

070 Valentine's

Did you know that Valentine's is banned in Saudi Arabia? Read it in the papers after dinner. It's even on CNN as well. On the 14th of February every year, everyone's not allowed to wear red. No nothing. Whether it's ribbons, shoes or anything that you can think of. Maybe boxers and lingerie 'cuz it's not visible. They even ban gift shops from selling Valentine's goodies like red roses, red teddy bears, teddies with the "I Love U" heart. It has something to do with their religious thingy.

A salesman said that a colleague of his got jailed because of the colour red. Wow. Didn't really know that there could be such thing. Until today of course.

This was how I spent my Valentine's.

With the whole lot of my family. Coincidently, my aunt's birthday falls on Valentine's Day as well.

We went to the newly renovated RakuZen for lunch today. The place seem pretty zen now. We ordered something called Tadashi Jumbo Roll. True to it's name, it's truly jumbo.

Had a Chocolate Brownie at LC the other day. It was like a taste from Heaven I tell you.

Am currently craving for Chocolate Fondue. I've been having dreams about it lately *drools*

059 Science

We started on the Reproduction chapter in tuition today. Some of them seem so excited and even started acting hyper. LOL. Haha. It was super funny. They kept asking teacher weird questions when teacher was explaining about the differences between sexual reproduction and asexual reproduction.

How does a bird have sex?
Can a human have sex with an animal?
Tsunami happens when whales have sex...!

Totally random. Well, we're still young and innocent aren't we?? >_<

058 TMNET

TMnet is pure crap and damn shitty I tell you. I'm pretty pissed of at the moment 'cuz I've been trying to get online since half an hour ago. This is not the first time it happened. Told my dad the problem and he's considering to cut the TMnet line and get a new one. Might be getting P1...

Valentine's tomorrow. Sadly, there's school. But I'm skipping 'cuz I haven't been getting enough sleep for the whole week. You see, I've got a sleeping problem-as i've mentioned in the previous previous posts-and I'm getting panda eyes. Mom says I was born with it-like one of my aunts'. Means I have 2x heavier eyebags than normal people. Hmmph....

Here's an early shout out too all of you guys out there.

Don't fret if you don't have a valentine to celebrate it with. Make a date with you girlfriends who like you-and me-, are valentine-less. Pamper yourself by getting you nails done or by going to spa. Celebrate Single Awareness Day if you're an anti-Valentines.

I too am single-but unavailable-and proud of it!

056

I WON tickets to catch Rihanna!!! Got them from hitz.fm. They were giving out tickets to those who were up for the challenges gave by them. I was told to splash a bucket of water on my sis. And so I did and we won. Ta-da. Sounds so easy and pretty and stupid at the same time, huh?

But it's getting postponed. The day is yet to be confirmed. Apparently, she got whacked by Chris Brown, her now boy toy. And so I heard there were bruises on her face. It must've really sucked for her. What kind of boyfriend hits their own girl???

I'm not much of a fan of Rihannas'. Got the tickets out of boredom >_<

055 Posting this out of boredom

I got myself a pair of Gladiators. Some might think it's fugly. Others might think that it's a fashion statement.

Yes, it's a pink fringed pair. Got it in my favourite boutique in Bangsar, Purple Dotz which is located on the Telawi street. I'm not so sure how people keep the fringe tamed. Mine keeps getting into curls.

I've been actually out hunting them since a couple of months ago. Some time before Christmas or was it before holidays begun last year...? You must be thinking "Why the hell did it took Ling Wai so long? You can get it just about anywhere." You're right, we can just get Glads just about anywhere. That's why I needed to find a unique and a one-of-a-kind pair. I saw them while I was flipping through this month's CLEO mag. My mom purposely drove all the way down to Bangsar with me for these. Of course while we're at it, we made a few detours to the boutiques along the street.

They don't only sell shoes but apparel and accessories as well. Oh, they have really cute tees =p Check them out at www.purpledotz.com

053

Pretty suckish day. I was told that there was a Photography Club meeting at 2 today. So, Mirul, Jaynie and I stayed back and waited at the cafeteria just as the final school bell rang at 1.10pm. While we stupidly waited, I noticed that only 3 of us from the photography club were there. We waited and waited till we got bored until the clock struck 2. Eventually, we went to find the teacher.

Me: Teacher, the club meeting's at 2 right?

Pn.Chia: Yeah. Did you guys came and took pictures 2 weeks ago?

Us:(geleng kepala)

Pn.Chia: Oh, I actually wanted to get the pictures from you guys. That's why I told y'all to bring your thumbdrives. But is's okay since you didn't come. (and started walking off)

Us:(stood silently, looking at one another)

Pn.Chia: (comes walking back)You guys waited from just now??

Us:(nod heads)

Pn.Chia: Nevermind then. I'll just mark your attendence. Just wait for next time's meeting. (walked off for real this time)

Mirul: What the fuck!?!

Me: What the shit!?!

Jaynie: (rolls eyes)

End of story.

God, teacher. Of course we waited from just now. We were still in our uniforms with our bags that weighs like tonnes of rocks. Don't ask the obvious.

Kursus Pengawas tomorrow. Every year they do the same freaking things. Give out papers, fill in, evaluate. If not then sit in groups, do mind maps then do a presentation. If not then invite some fella to do some talk about discipline crap.

What we get from all of these?? Butt cramps and brain damage.

Same old, same old. All I gotta say is *sigh*

052 Sugimoto

Went to a Japanese restaurant called Sugimoto in Hartamas. It was a treat from my aunt.

It was a pretty cool place. Compared to Raku Zen in Subang-they renovated and changed their name which I dunno what-I prefer Sugimoto. The atmosphere in Raku Zen's like pasar malam. People there talk so loudly as if their granddads own the place or something.

Food was excellent!! I give them a 9.5/10.

Clebrated my cousin, Edricks' 12th birthday yesterday. I picked a Chocolate Mud Cake from Secret Recipe for him. Part of it 'cuz I, myself is a fan of choc. Haha. Another thing is that we tried every cheesecake from Secret Recipe and got tired of them. You see, there are so many people in my family. So every month we purchase at least 2-3 cakes from them. We practically tasted every single cake they have there.

The cake was very rich and fattening. It was 100% covered with chocolate. From the outer layer to the inner layer.

That's Edrick in the middle. The other two was just kepo-ing.

I also went to try Toast Box in Sunway on Thursday, I think. Went there the day before but they were out of all most everything on the menu. My mom susah-susah queued for sooooo looooong and in the end we only had drinks. I ordered a Milo Dinosaur. It's just any ordinary milo. It's just that at the top of it, they put milo powder as high as Mount Fuji. Sorry, no pic for that one.

See that tall yellow thing. It's actually dough but it seemed like butter to me.

Had this Buolo yao thing the very next day. I was curious why so many people was taking this. It wasn't any good at all. They serve this In Old Town as well. Just that it's called Polo Bun. The one in Old Town is wayyy better. Scratch that, it's 100 times better.

Currently tuning on to songs on iTunes and doing History at the same time. I'm taking the short-cut by photocopying the maps and mind maps. I'm praying hard that the teacher won't slice me to bits.
