121 "Congratualations! You have won youself..."

Have been skipping school for a couple of days now. I'm sure Abir's dying of boredom by attending to the parking lot all by herself for the past 2 days.

>____<
I will try to attend school tomorrow. Try= If I wake up on time. I have been getting up around noon every single day.

My parents are officially back from their trip. Yes, that means no more watching movies till 3 am for me.
Sigh.

Ohhhhh, I received an email from one of the people from Time Out KL, you know the magazine?

It was a simple competition. Answer 2 simple questions and voila! You'll win yourself Jennifer's Body merchandise. Yup. The one starring Megan Fox. My cousin was excited giler when I told him about it on Facebook. Well, he's just like any typical guy who's head over heel for Megan Fox. Can't blame him.

I scored myself a tee, an umbrella( I know right?!?) and 2 movie posters. Too bad movie tickets weren't included ):

Lol. It's super puny. Ha~~

The only thing is that I have to head to their office in KL to collect the prize. Which is totally inconvenient. Hmmmpppphhh.

121 Dining Out

Just got back from dinner. Fusion Japanese Cuisine at Rakuzen. Sigh. I don't really favor that restaurant. The atmosphere gives you a Pasar Malam feeling. But many, many people tend to go there. And they really don't mind waiting even there aren't any vacant tables.

Lunch was served at Yoichi in Bandar Puteri this afternoon. I enjoy going there ever since they gave themselves a boost by upgrading the food. The lady boss is a pure Japanese. While the staff are very attentive. Every time I head down to the restaurant, there aren't many customers. It's mostly quiet.

I love the glass that they served the Ocha in ;D

My sister's Sashimi set that came with a bowl of rice, Miso soup and fruits. Plus, the Sashimi(s) was super fresh! All this for less than 20 bucks.

That's my cousin with his Sushi set also priced below RM 20.

This cousin of mine fractured his leg while cycling around his neighborhood. His left ankle to be exact. And so it was shit ass swollen. And when I say swollen, I mean really swollen. It was twice the size of his normal ankle. It turned a certain colour that seemed like blood wasn't able to circulate there. Awfully odd looking. Now he's hopping around on one foot because he didn't know how to use the *inserts name of the "thing"* (the long item where people put under their pits to support themselves when their leg isn't "functioning well") Yeah.

The Yakitori. Yummay to ;D
The first 2 sticks were beef I think, then the type of eggs which you can get during steamboat, then chicken, and I dunno what was it and last but not least, mushrooms. They were all grilled. Unhealthy, I know. Everything that tastes fantastic are all unhealthy. How unfair ):

My Hiyashi Chuka. It's basically cold noodles served in chopped veggies in soy sauce. Love this dish. Sushi Zanmai have it in their menu too. Both are equally good.

The pork donburi. My sis'. She can eat a lot and yet stay one size. *jealous*

And for desserts we have...

Yoichi Pudding. Another one of my sister's favourite.

My favourite. Iced coffee served with sugar and milk separately. Add them to your liking/taste. Oh, that's how it looks before and after adding milk+sugar. I prefer it to be not so sweet so that the caffeine taste will be much stronger. My sister on the other hand like it to be sweeter.

Green tea ice-cream!! A must-have dessert in any Japanese restaurant :D

The food was great and most importantly, affordable.

Tomorrow's a Sunday. No plans are made except for my uncle's Birthday Bash at his place in the evening. It won't be the end of weekend yet for some. Me included. Yay!

Happy Deepavali to all!

Firecrackers have been going on and off these couple of nights. I understand that for every festival, all cultures tend to play set off firecrackers. But not until 3 in the morning right?!? I'm IMing with my bestie here and she's telling me the exact same thing. Plus, she's the one celebrating Deepavali also. If you don't have to sleep, others have to too you know. Consider your other kind-hearted neighbors who needs their precious sleep, thank you. As if the sound of people rempit-ing around the neighborhood isn't enough already.

Yup. I couldn't sleep the entire night. So I stayed up to watch G.I Joe.

I rate it 8.5/10.

One thing's for sure. Channing Tatum's just so hot!! XD
The BFF doesn't agree with me with that one though.

120 My recent splurges

While waiting for my fav Korean Variety Show, 2 Days 1 Night to air, I'm just gonna blog to fill in an hour++ time. Yes, this is exactly how I spend my Friday nights home. Not the blogging part though XD

2 Days 1 Night basically talks about how these 6 guys travel across different provinces in South Korea coming up with random things to do and such. It's very hard to explain how humorous it is. You just gotta watch if for yourself. But I can promise you, it's no doubt an awesome program to watch.
So quick, make sure you're set in front of the television at 11.20pm with the KBS World (Astro 303) channel flipped on :D Ha. Seems like I'm getting commission for promoting it or something.

Not too long ago, I purchased a uber-smashing tote (yes, another one)

It was too cute to not buy it. It's just so... me!! The statement bag says it all. Ahhh... *hearts*

And no Li Shing, I'm still not rich. Even though if I keep buying stuff doesn't mean I'm loaded. It's just 'cuz someone else is paying =p

Check out their site here ;D

There was a Japanese Food Fest organized by Shojikiya at One Utama today. And of course, being a Jap. snacks lover, I got a few things for myself.

Left: Tamago Boro - which actually means Egg Ball Biscuits in English. And so it says so at the back of the package. Had these since I was a toddler and am still loving it. It practically melts in your mouth. Even my mom loves them!

Right: Suntory Peach Drink - It may be too sweet for my liking but I just love the peachy taste in them. Did I mention that I got myself drunk after drinking a can of Peach tea with 5% alcohol in it?? Yes, in fact I did. I was lobster red. Like when you get a sunburn kinda red.

Up: Then there's the Meiji Black Chocolate. I only enjoy eating Black Chocolate. Dairy of White is a turn-off. Doesn't matter what brand.

Bottom: Ah, this one is my favvvvv Green Tea ice-cream. I always get one after every meal at Sushi Zanmai!

Then there's the POCKY !! The family's favourite. You know, we actually purchase this in every country we visit. It tastes the same obviously. It's just so tempting that you can't help but to purchase it. While we were in Hong Kong during June Holidays, we got ourselves the Giant pack. Since Halloween is around the corner, I guess they came up with the Halloween Edition.
True to its name, it really was GIANT.

The chocolate stick was almost as long as my head! It costs HKD 99 for the entire box. They didn't have the Giant package at the Food Fair though.

Be sure to check out the Japanese food Festival at 1Utama. It runs till this Sunday. It's so huge that you wouldn't miss it :D

119 Unexpectedly...

Guess what my dad came home with?

;D I know right...!

BFF's plannibg to sleep over so that we can watch it together. "Coincidentally", my parents are out of the country. They went to Shanghai. It's gonna be me and my sis and GG only for the entire week!! XD

Look what came in the mail for me.

It's the Envirosax La Boheme Tote that I won!!

It was an easy-peasy competition that I participated here. BB was in the running to win himself a brand new Sony Vaio courtesy of Sony. And so, we simply had to just click the "like" button of his pictures in FB and the first 15 or so who posts a comment on his blog entry saying stating our name, FB page, which colour of the tote that we prefer and voila! That was it! Simple, no?

Yes, that little black/white thing is the tote. When it's folded, it's the size of my palm. Cute, ain't it? Once opened, it was big ass huge. I was pretty surprised actually. Mainly 'cuz it was really puny. The concept of it is pretty much like those mini umbrella that we keep in our bags. When you need it, you just have to click it open. And when you don't just fold it back and "click", you're done.

There was even an manual provided on how to fold the tote neatly and tidily before placing it back ;D

Oh, and did I mention that it was an eco-friendly tote?

There are various colours and designs in this range of totes. I picked the cream one beacuse I just love the printing. The design is almost similar as my Gisele Bundchen, Ipanema flip-flops :)

Pics: bagaholicboy.blogspot.com
Here's a picture for you to have a picture of how the actual size of the tote is.

BAGAHOLICBOY.COM is a site that I have been following for quite some time. He basically writes about designer bags obviously. That's the site where I found out about the Marc Jacobs tote.

Jaynie just asked me on facebook what's the, quote:

"Square and colourful thing that everyone's playing in school called?"

Har-har.Totally random XD

I actually had this post typed yesterday night. BUT, the shit-ass STREAMYX connection was playing childish games and cut me off.

Alrighty. Thta's all for now.
